Hi, I’m Trey. I am a Texas native originally from Houston, now based in the Driftwood and South Austin area, where I have built a long and rewarding career in hospitality. With more than fifteen years in the industry, I take pride in creating environments that are welcoming, authentic, and rooted in tradition rather than trend. I currently serve as a manager at the Mean Eyed Cat in Driftwood, a Johnny Cash–themed bar that celebrates classic music, strong character, and genuine Texas spirit.

I am a lifelong supporter of all Houston sports teams and a devoted music fan, interests that reflect my appreciation for loyalty, storytelling, and shared experiences. Outside of work, I value time spent with my family, who remain the foundation of everything I do. For me, hospitality is not simply a profession, but a way to bring people together through warmth, consistency, and respect.

Hi I’m Lindy! I was raised in San Antonio, but moved out to the beautiful hill country in 2013 to attend Texas State for microbiology while continuing my journey in the hospitality industry! My home base is currently in San Marcos, but in the last decade I’ve lived and worked in many of the towns within the area including San Mo, New Braunfels, Wimberley, Driftwood, Kyle and Buda! Some of you might even recognize me from one of the local bars I’ve worked at nearby! I always dreamed of a cool & casual bar in one of the smaller communities here that would stay open ‘til 2am every day so when Mean Eyed Cat opened a location in Driftwood I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be back in the local bar scene serving one of my favorite communities! I love putting care and effort into everything I do, especially providing true hill country hospitality to my fellow night owls looking for a place to relax and unwind whether it’s local residents, commuters, fellow industry friends, or curious first-time visitors looking for a great and memorable experience! But no matter the time of day I’m beyond grateful to be surrounded by amazing people on both sides of the bar, and working alongside the best team of bartenders and co-workers a girl could ask for!! When I’m not hard at work I spend my time with my loved ones, trying new places to eat and drink, shooting pool, or just being a couch potato.

I’m Matthew, originally from Edinburgh, Texas, raised in Mustang Ridge, and currently holding down the bar at Mean Eyed Cat. I’ve spent years behind bars (the legal kind), and this one’s exactly my speed. Johnny Cash on the walls, country music in the air, and drinks that don’t mess around.

I believe a proper dive bar should have cold beer, strong pours, and great music. You won’t find fancy garnish or judgment here, just honest drinks, fast service, and a bartender who knows when to talk, when to listen, and when to slide you a shot and mind his business.

Mean Eyed Cat is for regulars, wanderers, music lovers, and anyone who appreciates the Man in Black and a stiff drink. I’m here to keep the music humming, the room feeling right, and everyone properly hydrated (however you define that).
